Next, she furthered her studies in Studio Arts in Florida resulting in her exceptional style, focusing on the sculptural element of the painting to inspire the viewer to long to touch and feel it, thus creating a whole experience. Artist statement "My art is an exploration. There are some hidden messages and intention, and sometimes I just want to reveal the discoveries made during the process. My works arise from the transfer of the inner occurrences to the outer. I create my style using certain techniques in my work: alterations that produce unique results. I generally seek out the medium that best suits the work and when I have the liberty, a medium that compliments my mood at the time. I have a rather unconventional approach to my painting, which I work in acrylics for its versatility and quick drying purposes, but I also incorporate other media into my work. The textural aspect of a painting is important to me, because it adds depth and captures almost a physical element to it. This process of scraping and reapplying the paints develops layers of colors and textures, which gives me the satisfaction of working “in” to the painting. My ultimate intention is for people to immerse themselves into my paintings and to make discoveries of their own."
