Biography:
I was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico in May 13, 1979. I come from a loving and artistic family. Since I was little I was inculcated strong roots of religion, the beauty of music, and the respect we need to give to nature. My life took me to live in many places, California, Indiana, Mexico, and Chicago but something lured me to come live to this amazing city Miami. Here at 35 years old I felt awakened I discovered a true passion that I have never tapped in to and that is painting. I started painting since 2013 thanks to a special angel I met, my first painting was really hard for me I thought it was very difficult to transfer my thoughts into a canvas. After I finish my first painting my mind was never the same I couldn't stop a new beast that was been transformed and that was the artist in me. Ever since I picked up that easel and canvas I have never stopped creating paintings always thinking in transforming a thought into a reality and expressing to the world my world throughout my art.
Statement:
Throughout my artistic work I wish to awaken the conscience, imagination, and the soul of the ones that look at my paintings. My work is simply a reflection of my imagination, my mind, my wishes, frustrations, and my daily living. I’m raw, I don’t ask for forgiveness when it comes when expressing myself, I don’t pretend to paint what the people would like to see but I stay loyal to myself and the reality that my heart tells me to do and paint. The world is diverse therefore my paintings are diverse as well. I believe that I never grew up I live my life with passion with a childish state of mind I never want to feel trapped that is why I run free in whatever I choose to do.
