Lorena was born in Buenos Aires but raised mostly in the Dominican Republic. Lorena's art is no doubt influenced and enlightened with forms and color from Central America. It is generous and abundant, full of life and colors. It’s an invitation to join the movement, to avoid static. It is impossible to face her art without participating, without feeling that it takes both art piece and observer to complete the circle of senses.
Lorena Verdaguer begins painting in a mature state of life, after the 40’s, which is for a woman time for deep changes. All the colors flourished to reveal an outstanding artist whose skills were professionally improved guided by artists as Otero Marcos, Marcelo Albinati, Miguel Caretti (well known masters and teachers).
In our days her art is in a professional path and the evolution is a result of a profound commitment to her inner soul and roots.
