Artist Statement

My work explores the shapes, images, and colors of my own internal space, and communicates possibilities of other, subtler worlds – my search for which is somehow connected with the shamanic form of transmission. The goal is to be and think of others as holistic – to be able to talk to mind, body and spirit alike. I love to receive information, and then materialize it as a visual phenomenon.

I generally resolve my work in metaphysical spaces. My art deals with the fall of paradigms and emergence of new ones, and the reevaluation of myths, beliefs and customs, and employs what I call object/sculpture as well as painting. I employ acrylic paint, watercolor, neon light, LED light, or fiber optics. I am influenced by the graphic representations of the Patagonian cave paintings, and more generally by the indigenous cultures of my land and how the native art adapts to everyday life. My work shows my beliefs and personal views. The result reflects my inner world.
