FIALLEGAS

Biography:

Daniel Fiallegas was born in Buenos Aires in 1953. Daniel has always been an admirer and follower of the great masters of painting but it was not until 2011 that he took up his passion for art which had been dormant ever since he was a child due to his other passion, aviation.

Daniel started painting as a self-taught painter and then took classes at Claudia Lentino’s and Claudia Keen´s art studio to master acrylic painting techniques. At present, Daniel is studying with the Great Argentine Master Artist Jorge Frasca who he has always looked up to. In these few years he has taken part in numerous exhibitions where he has received several awards that encourged him to grow internationally and take his art to the United States.

Artist Statement:

"When I paint fields I get carried away as far as their vastness; there is so much peace and serenity for me in their endlessness, their colors and fragrances bring back to me unforgettable moments of my youth. In my work I try to convey the simplicity I sense and fondle in my soul, and when I feel I am getting carried away by them into such peace I believe my works are finished, though they will always be lacking in aroma and breeze to be real.

I have chosen to work with acrylic because acrylic is reliable and always readily available to me, urging me to use my brush and its strokes to express the first sensations that flow out of me, thus showing all the grandeur, the spaciousness and serenity inspired by fields."
