Presenting to you, This generations' up and coming captivating artist:
CC Ben Lou Lou
Born and raised in South Africa, CC along with her 4 siblings and mother whom are all very talented, admirable artists in many different aspects and fields. Being raised with a well renowned chef/caterer, clothing designer, architect, sculptor, painters, drawers, graphic designer…etc Art you could say is permanently in CC’s blood.
Simply a naturally enjoyable hobby from the day she could pick up a pencil or play with arts and crafts.
CC Ben Lou Lou expresses and has expressed her emotions, experience, environment, life events and overall everyday inspirational stories on canvas. Experimenting with different mediums, objects, styles, supplies on hand and anything that could mend into some sort of creation.
What finds intriguing to CC and how she perceives Art? Women, they have the ability to express such secrecy in their emotions. Good or bad. “I find a connection with the profile I am creating and turn it into one of my tales, a questionable and wondrous one in fact. Although I have the ability in which I take advantage of to turn my talents in different routes, women’s facial expressions are the strongest impact to the foundation of my work.”
Working with reupholstering furniture, re-doing “side walk giveaways” whether it being a table, chair… basically anything that could use a bit of a spruce or a makeover.
Easily turning “Potential into Treasure” and always using the expression “A little bit of spice makes everything nice” with a grin on her face following.
Her direction - always aiming towards “Out with the Old, In with the New” Striving to learn all forms of art everyday. Gaining knowledge and absorbing as much information and experience she possibly can from anyone or any place.
Doing her best to create a new and fresh outlook on art.
The ending result… CC invites you to be a part of her vision, in the present and future.
“Art is something that I enjoy freely, an attached hobby of mine. It relaxes me and gives me a chance to escape.” –CC Ben Lou Lou
