Designing comes naturally to me like the colors of a forming sunset; unique in color, shape and space. For as long as I can remember, I have been creating and designing with diverse physical media, traversing several artistic genres. My technique and style reflect a constant evolution in my journey as an artist, which includes two and three dimensional perspectives in color and shape, landscape design, fashion, and furniture as art.
My current collection of acrylic and resin on wood was inspired by years of working in the fashion industry, working with many different fabrics, trims and textile designs. I am constantly inspired by the fashion and interior design industries which gives me the opportunity to portray drama in my paintings and use of color.
Born in San Jose, California of a Zuni Native American mother, I spent much of my formative years on the Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico, learning Zuni crafts skills at the knee of my grandfather, an accomplished creator of Native American jewelry. I know now where my creative talents come from and I will spend my life giving the world colorful pieces. My artwork can be found in private estates, offices, and restaurants throughout California and the Hollywood Museum. I am also fortunate to have been featured in various media venues, such as Travel and Leisure, San Jose Mercury News and San Jose Metro.
