Since childhood Beatrice awakens a special sensitivity to shape, color and light through her approach to painting and sculpture.
Years later based on this experience she acquires knowledge in various techniques such as: brush and palette knife oil, acrylic and oil with textures. Hence her passion is born, it will produce a work rich in expressions, content and ways in which we can distinguish three stages:
GENESIS is the encounter with shapes and color, through images in which faces take on particular importance in the sacred expression of love, goodness, truth, tenderness and beauty; handled in her oil paintings in tinted colors where light and shade seek balance., At this time most of her work is on earth tones and grays.
LIGHT Over the years, Beatriz experiments with color and light gradually detaching herself from the human form and searching color in nature. Thus, light and shadow appear and disappear, leaving traces and movement throughout her work. We see fruit, flowers and vegetation in large foliage, stems and petals, Beatriz captures through her brush the dance of life and color, and reveals the force of the Caribbean and the lush vegetation of South America.
MOVEMENT during this period, rapidly natural and human forms disappear to give way to color, light and texture. With a strong and vivid expression in hue red, orange and yellow in contrast to blue, violet and white, Beatriz expresses the freedom in front of the sea, the contact with water, wind and nature. Her work is a palette of colors and light that awakens the sensitivity beyond the image, as if she were to jump from the plane to the volume, strolling through scenes which recreate the magical sensations of existence.
