Grieco

Emily Grieco was born in Manhattan. As a matter of fact she says ,”I lived across the street from The Metropolitan Museum Of Art, where everyday I played Hide n Seek with my friends in and around the museum”. Talk about Osmosis.
My artistic roots started out in a loose Impressionistic genre. As time goes on, my goal is to express myself in my own visual language, one that never stops evolving.
I spent more than a decade at the Art Student League, in New York City, and studied with many of New York’s noted artists. Knox Martin, Larry Poons, William Scharf, and Kenneth McIndoe.
My use of colors and layers create a unique depth in my paintings. Color is in every stroke.
I hope you have found as much joy viewing my work as I have in creating my paintings.
