Artist Statement
I am a physician by profession but art is my passion. I am inspired by the beauty of our vast expanse of forests,fields and vegetation. I visualize the cohabitation of living creatures with nature attempting to capture the array of lush bright colors and endless variety of plant life that nourishes and sustains our planet.
I love the outdoors and am saddened by man's lack of respect for the purity of nature and the importance it plays in our lives. These areas are rapidly disappearing from our world and need to be preserved for perpetuity. My works express the unspoiled beauty of things we take for granted. Hopefully this art will serve as a reminder of nature's beauty and the need for it's preservation. I used mixed media of oils, acrylics and collage on wood panels to express my visions.
