Juan Carlos Pombo was born in Bogota, Colombia, surrounded by history and beauty. He developed his passion for art at a very young age. His journey started with studies in industrial design and soon transferring to architecture in Universidad de los Andes in Bogota and ended up transferring and graduating from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Providence, Rhode Island. His Love for art and painting grew during his years as a student, and later matured and developed into a mixture of architecture and art. He says, that color plays a very important role in human life and colors affect the way people feel. This is why he combines architecture, design and strong vibrant colors to create his modern art full of light and lots of energy. |
