Noel Epelboim was born in Caracas, Venezuela on July 26, 1960. It was not until 2002 when he began his formal training in photography. It was then that he honed in his talent and polished his skills experimenting with various mediums. Epelboim became an artist in order to visually express how he is influenced by life in nature, in the hopes that others would enjoy and be moved by some of the same things that move him. Working primarily in photography, the artist developed a signature technique using bright colors. His travels around the world have provided inspiration for many of the artist's work. For the past 7 years, Noel has fully devoted his attention and skills towards the art of photography. His uncanny, “second nature” sense of composition and understanding of light, delivers technically great photos. But it’s his unique understanding and real-world experiences together with “heart and soul” devotion to his work that takes this visual medium to the level of true art that many photographers aspire to but seldom achieve. Epelboim feels that appreciation and love of art lie in the eye of the beholder, and that everyone has something to contribute. "For me, art is like a lot of things in life, there’s always something new to learn so hopefully one’s work is always evolving, changing, growing." The artist describes himself as a representational photographer. His images invite viewer participation and have been described as sensitive, introspective, images of a picturesque world. |
