Michael Huttner

Bio for Michael Huttner:

As an award-winning photogapher, Michael's remarkable ability to capture images started with learning photography from his older brother at the age of nine in a makeshift darkroom in their basement. After studying photography under Henry Horentstein at the Rhode Island School of Design, Huttner travelled extensively in India, Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe both as a photographer and a spiritual seeker. Taught as a traditionalist, each of Huttner's images was shot with a 35mm film, single-lens-reflex manual-focus camera and is seen in its full original form.

In addition to photography, Huttner is the Founder and National Director of ProgressNow.org, an online non-profit that uses new media to advocate for progressive social change in eleven states including Florida. Michael lives in Boulder, Colorado with Debbie, his wife who founded The Wellness Initiative to teach yoga and meditation to children in low-income schools. They are the proud new parents of two children Lee, age two, and Evy who is one year old.
