Alla Kosarevskaya was born in Russia in 1976. With a background and classical university Russian education in the arts, music, dance, painting and visuals, she has been creating this unique art form for over the past 10 years.
The creation of pieces for hanging with wood veneers is both painstaking and breathtaking in the final incarnation. No piece or sliver of wood is chosen without thought and consequence, leading to the results that you see here

"From the beginning I decided that the only true way to express myself with this media, was to do everything by hand. No machines are used. Knives are used to cut the veneers to shape from true and natural cuts of wood, giving you a beautiful and unique piece of art that will bring warmth and enliven your surroundings."
