Nancy first found her love of art when she received a gift of oil paints at
the age of seventeen. Escaping into her own world, Nancy painted for six hours
straight before she looked up and saw her very first creation, a painting that
would later win an award at her Cincinnati High School Scholastic Art Contest.
Largely a self-taught artist, Nancy spends a great deal of her time creating
highly colorful & expressionistic paintings. Her abstract compositions evokes
images of flowers, butterflies, birds, & jungle foliage. She also enjoys
painting impressionistic arrangements of flowers. Her paintings are a
celebration of life as found in her own inner garden.
"For me, color represents life; it is a revitalizing force. My paintings
attempt to capture those primal energies that normally remain untapped -- in the human mind, heart, & soul." - Nancy Hall
