Sunita completed a 4-year Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Further studies include Marketing and Graphic design.
Sunita is an energetic, multi-skilled artist and uses her talents in many different art forms. Her art gives joy to private collectors around the world.
Sunita's artwork is a selection of a variety of subjects. To familiarize herself with her subject each drawing forgoes playful, quick and spontaneous sketches. Many of these sketches develop into well-planned drawings, designs, sculptures and paintings.
She loves using charcoal made from carbonized sticks of willow or vine because of their extremely friable qualities. She achieves exactly what she wants by skillfully using this abrasive medium with gentle strokes resulting in very dramatic, powerful and lively drawings.
The way she contrasts, shapes and distributes values, and the amount and manner of tonal transition among them are potent factors in the psychological mood of her artwork.
Sunita believes one has to live life to the fullest, in capturing ones creative dreams, in pursuance of ones goals. Her artwork are a display of her artistic abilities for everyone to enjoy.
