Jaya

Jaya started arts and plastics on her own from 1970 to 1974, then she joined the art workshop of teacher Isaac Stavans, from 1974 to 1976. After that, she continued to work on her own until 1985, when she enrolls in the art workshop of the New Yorker Arthur Krohnengold, where she worked and studied until his recent passing, august 2005. Since then, she took over the workshop and became a teacher herself, following Krohnengold’s steps.
From 1990 to 1993, Jaya decided to perfect her technique and joined Jose Salazar Art Academy.
From 1989 to 1991, she studied perspective and the human figure at the South Art Institute in Miami Fl. , while she earned her degree in art history at the UNAM (Uiversidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico).
Along her career, she has been part of art & design projects with different charity organizations and government events.
