Cacau

Clarice de Souza (Cacau) was born in North-east Brazil. Cacau’s first passion in life was to study physics and civil engineering. After moving from Brazil to the United States, she decided to pursue her other passion in life, art. By incorporating her passion and life experiences, she has been able to create colorful and energetic paintings.

Artist's Statement

My paintings are inspired by the different phases of my life, experiences and my Brazilian roots. Brazil is known for its vibrant colors and energetic people. Living in Miami and being a part of the Latin culture has only enhanced my flavor for color and energy, which I express in my art.
