A lover of color
Tita Aaftink was born in Paris during the Soccer World Cup Final between the
Netherlands and Germany in 1974.
At the age of five, she moved to Amsterdam with her family where she spent her youth.
In 1999 she graduated for her Master's in Dutch Corporate Law at the University of Leiden but decided to commit herself to Art, which is her biggest passion.
She took painting classes in Amsterdam with artist Michiel Czn. Dhont, after which she went to Fine Art schools in Melbourne and London. Back in Amsterdam she followed film and video courses at the University and closely worked with multi media artist and VJ, Alex Vermeulen.
An artist who expresses her vision using a wide range of media including
pure color, sculpture, video and photography.
Tita’s quest is that of an explorer, entirely committed to discovering new
insights and experiences by studying nature and it’s colors, dynamics and evolution.
Tita works and lives in Amsterdam and Miami.
