Martin Šrámek was born in 1967 in the sign of Aquarius. He lives and creates his artwork in Prague, Czech Republic. Throughout his art career he attended numerous art classes and art seminars. He gets inspired by old masters techniques. He has learned to master some of their techniques and interprets them into his own unique style of his paintings.
His art dominates the interest for elements between the sky and the earth – it is a matter of new reality, with visions from “other worlds” His paintings express well the interest for universe, magic, mystics and mythology.
In his own words he explains:
“I would like to achieve with my paintings the transformation of people to the world of new reality. A world where there are only brittle borders between reality, fiction and dreams. The reality becomes a dream and a dream gradually become reality.
Maybe you will find in my paintings a view into another universe, where there are no valid earthbound physical lows and matters, landscape or figures don’t have to be always clear with a defined character. You may also find a little bit of mystery or magic, which I hope will have a positive and pleasant effect. I hope they will also please your eyes and will touch your soul. This is all that matters in our “Speedy Era”
