Was born on 29th February 1956 in Moscow but grew up in the Czech Republic.
He studied history and art history at the Teacher’s College in Moscow, and at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
Having completed his university education he began teaching history and Russian. At this time, he was confronted with an oppressive life experience which caused him to immense himself into his own world and begin to paint.
His brush and his colors were the medicine to cure the depressive moods which were tormenting him. His paintings from that period reflect this very suggestive effect although his more recent pieces demonstrate the love and reconciliation his art has brought him. The personal crisis created the profound artist that he is today.
In more recent years, Vladimir has expanded the scope and range of his art from modern/contemporary pieces to very realistic portraits of celebrities around the world. Even Mrs. Bush and the Dali Lama have received one of Vladimir’s renowned portraits of them. Although the author has been actively involved in art for five years, he has painted more than 500 pictures. He has had numerous exhibitions; his works can be found in private art collections throughout the world.
