Rafik Neme, humanist, painter and poet born in Valledupar, Columbia on February 14, 1959.
He is the author of many poetry books, self taught in the art of painting, possesses a magnificent control over the nib which he lays over canvas and paper, through tantalizing arabesque and elaborative labyrinth creations which are the fruits of his imagination without limits. This is a result of many sleepless nights and much patience to achieve the ultimate goal of introducing us to his exuberant and mysterious world of vegetation.
Through his art, he gives a pictorial narrative of his works, in the middle of his “Quijotes” heroics, his physical trees and countless number of abstract figures, in other words, his magical dreams….
