I am a Cuban-born and raised artist who has lived in the United States since 2008. I studied painting at Cuban art schools for seven years. I work in various media. My main art forms include painting, drawing, photography, book illustration, and, more recently, sculptures. To create my artwork, I use both conventional and non-conventional materials and frequently cross the lines between them. I usually work in long series, moving between figurative and abstract work. I enjoy putting visible "effort" into each piece by employing academic techniques I've learned over time. |
