Jacqueline Reynoso

Jacqueline was born in the Grand Canyon State of Arizona. Her love for drawing and painting started at a young age and for most of her life it just remained a hobby. She moved to San Antonio Texas in 2006. She dabbled in her hobby here and there but it wasn’t until in 2017 she was asked to paint some sport logo paintings. She hesitated because she didn’t think anyone would buy her artwork. Once she finished the first two paintings they sold in a week and as she was working on the third painting she had a buyer waiting for her to finish. From there it began.
Jacqueline loves to travel and has traveled all over the world. Egypt, Europe, Caribbean Islands and her trucking career allowed her to travel all over the US. As she traveled she explored art all over the world. She has been to the Louvre Museum in Paris, France and seen the Mona Lisa and many other famous artists work. Seeing art like that inspires someone to keep being creative.
During her trucking career is when she started painting again. She would receive many commissions and take them on the road with her. She would stop at rest areas or hop on scenic routes on her 18 wheeler big rig in hopes of finding a good spot to stop and work on her paintings. She loved to stop at cliff sides and work while she had breaks from driving.
Early 2021, she decided to quit life on the road as a truck driver and work on her art career full time.
With support from her family and friends and customers she was able to start off slow and eventually gain the confidence to start climbing and reaching out. She reached out to a local San Antonio Gallery to see if she could have art in a gallery. She was accepted into San Antonio Artist Collective in August 2021 and about a month later she had art in Alas Pa Volar Gallery which is a small gallery dedicated to Frida Kahlo Art. From that point she started Live Painting and live body painting at Festivals and Art shows in San Antonio. Miami has always had a special place in her heart. The first time she visited Wynwood District many years ago , she admired the artists that had their work on display for so many people to enjoy. Never imagining she would one day have art in Miami also for people to enjoy. One thing she learned in her journey is “If you don’t ask, the answer will never be yes.”If you have a gift or a desire in your heart, do it! God can make anything possible. Don’t be afraid of someone saying no or rejecting you. Because you never know when you’ll meet the right person to tell you yes and give you the opportunity to live out your dream.
