Priscilla Dale Jones was born on the East Coast and currently resides in Maryland. She took her first photographs as a young child growing up in a small town on the Pacific Ocean with a camera her father gave her. The ever-changing nature of water informs all of her macro photography. Her images of water and its many forms capture unrepeatable structures and overlooked details and explore the relationship of color, light, shadow, form, perception, and imagination. Her work has been exhibited in group shows in San Diego and Miami; will soon be displayed in group shows in Manhattan and in Tokyo; has been accepted to an upcoming group exhibition in a gallery in the greater Houston area; and now appears in Art Fusion Galleries, Wynwood. She holds a B.A. in political science from San Diego State University; an M.A. in modern European history from UCLA; and a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. |
