Marina Krutko was born in Ukraine in 1984. She studied many forms of art including ceramics, sculpture. She has master degree of the artist and interior designer. After university she worked for many years as an interior designer and continued to paint and sold her art through interior design, galleries and private commissions. Marina is owner and teacher of Art School for kids. The human body and nature are her main areas of work. From figurative to abstract, her colourful universe revives memories. Each pose suggests a new way to understand anatomy and encourages her to question herself and to take new paths. She mixes classical portraiture techniques with a modern sexualised vision of women. Her sketches of nudes, mostly women, are carried out with different types of materials. She explores many techniques: watercolour, inks, oil, pencils, markers. Painting allows her to express herself freely and spontaneously. Faced with the nakedness of the body and its many postures, Marina’s strokes shed the superfluous, and get back to basics. A delicate masterstroke by Marina, it is a painting of wisdom and intelligent feminine beauty.
