Biography
Cintina Converse is a self-taught artist from Cleveland Ohio. She learned how to paint by watching television shows by Bob Ross and William Alexander. She also learned to draw by checking out how to learn to draw books from the local library. Cintina later studied a self-paced basic art course at Penn Foster.
Cintina Converse always loved art for as long as she can remember. Her deepest inspiration is simply creating something out of nothing. She is always inspired by everyday life. She became an artist to have an opportunity to inspire others.
Artist Statement
"Painting for me as an escape. I use my intuition to do what feels right when I am creating a painting, the most inspiration for me is the nights I can't sleep. A painting is not being put on canvas, but it is being painted in my mind. For me the best art is the art that isn't perfect, and when inspiration is a fuse from another project."
