Biography
Hiroko Matsumura was born in Hiroshima, Japan. She was fortunate to live in different countries. Due to her multicultural background she speaks English, Spanish, Japanese, French and also understands Portuguese. Understanding the language gives a closer perspective of a nation.
From an early age, art was part of her interest. Hiroko was able to explore from color pencils, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, oil paint to charcoal and different pencils for drawings. She is mostly a self-taught artist. She also works with other types of arts.
Due to her Japanese origin, the Asian culture is always nourishing her interests like Shodo, the art of Japanese Calligraphy, Asian style decoration, Japanese gardens, origami, other crafts and also the practice of the Traditional Japanese Karate holding a black belt degree .
Hiroko earned her Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2001. She also studied True scientific Feng Shui. She founded Zen Life Feng Shui in 2006 and has advised her clients about the benefits of the Feng Shui.
She lived in Japan for several years before moving back to Florida in 2012. Hiroko has published four books which are as follows:

"25 Dichos japoneses" (Spanish)
Hiroko believes that painting is a combination of shapes and colors with light and shadows. Living in other continents made her experience a totally different worlds. She feels fortunate to explore through other cultures, customs, behaviors, idiosyncrasy. Using her art as a means of expression, she brings a little bit of the East to the West.
