Self made artist, handling colors, heats to perform an art drove by passion, Chantal states, "I express my selfperception of the world. From Martinique, my «muse island», my closest friend and family encourage me to BE an artist and to let my passion be my life. With my paintbrushes, I exteriorize my feelings, share my emotions, and throw them at the mercy of the world...
In 2011, I implemented «art invites itself at home» in Martinique. The concept? I display my paintings and artworks at a guest house for a night sharing experiments, art, and cocktails. Working on various dimensions, I prefer using large formats of painting to let the story breathe. Looking for inspiration, I push to limits of my paintings to reach walls and clothing. Multi-dimensional, and multi- material, I inscribe my emotions and wide panel of interpretations of the moment."
