The true excitement found in the work of M.G. Motches can be attributed to the vivid use of color and originality of design in multiple layers. Born in New Jersey, Motches moved to New York, developed an art and design business and taught watercolors and oils for twenty years. After moving to the Florida Keys in1995, Motches’ desire for improvement led to study with agricultural landscape artist, Barbara Dougherty in Maryland, where the artist developed a more impressionistic style. This accomplished artist now studies with German abstract expressionist Joachim Loeber in Key West who showed at the A. Rauh Gallery in Bamberg, Germany following an exhibit BY Marc Chagall. This award winning artist is widely collected in the U.S. and Europe and has had a significant number of exhibits including The Key West Museum of Art and History and Art in Public Places.
