Artist Statement
"My work gives shape to our human tendency towards constant movement in our search for meaning...Walking along this reflective path, I find inspiration in those “huellas” (traces) we all leave behind along our journey. Sometimes their significance changes as we see them in a new light, colored by the passage of time and personal growth...
These are the traces found in my work, represented by successive layers representing the depth of our experiences. While some of them appear immutable, others capture the motion and changes inherent in life...I would like to invite the viewer into my work to help evoke personal memories and emotions, and to reflect on life’s richness."
